Qwisp® is a curriculum framework designed to be used anywhere in the world by teachers and learners alike, starting at the preschool level and continuing into higher grades and beyond, as a tool for lifelong learning.
Qwisp® offers a new approach to learning. It is an organic, self-driven learning experience with a simple structure that leads to an ongoing depth of knowledge. It reinstates the connection between survival, needs and spontaneous energies. Learning becomes a tool for survival, not just for the self, but for all life on earth.
The process is facilitated by the QwispMap®: four questions that are applied to each need at each level each year with survival as the underlying motivator. Learners are led by the questions through a thought sequence from which the lessons or research possibilities emanate.
The QwispMap® is a simple mind map structure that comprises trigger points of four questions that are repeated yearly in a spiral of continual learning so that it becomes a learning journey of ongoing depth and breadth, creating a life-long mind map on which the learner constructs his or her knowledge base. This process allows them to understand what is around them, who they are, how they fit into the world, how to survive responsibly, and what the consequences of a lack of mindfulness are.
The Qwisp® learning journey is the journey of all humanity.
